SOWM Prospective Member Q&A · Oct 21
Thinking about joining The Society of Working Moms? This isn't a presentation. It's a conversation.
We'll spend most of our time talking about you: what's on your plate right now, what you're hoping to find, and what kind of support would make a real difference. You'll hear from other working moms in the same season, get a feel for how SOWM shows up for members, and walk away with at least one idea you can use this week, whether you join or not.
A few things you might want to ask about:
How SOWM works: We're a Slack-based community built around your schedule. Most of it is async, so you can say the real thing at 11pm once the kids are asleep, no judgment.
What's included: Expert- and member-led sessions, a quarterly book club, and IRL meet-ups when enough of us are in the same city.
Who SOWM is for: Any working mom, at any stage, in any industry. Individual contributor or leading a team, working for yourself or working in a corporate role, brand new to motherhood or years in. If you're building a career and raising kids at the same time, you belong here.
Bring your questions about pricing, a typical week in Slack, or whether this is the right fit for you right now. No pressure, no pitch.
See you soon,
Carisa
