Create Your Own Parklet: From Idea to Reality

What happens after a community imagines a better use for its streets?

Parking reform can open the door to new possibilities for public space, but turning those possibilities into reality is often the hardest part.

Join the Parking Reform Network for a Lunch & Learn with Gibson Chu, founder of In Spaces Studio and creator of Parking, Reimagined, an interactive civic planning tool that helps anyone explore what a parking space could become.

Through a live demonstration, we'll explore how residents, advocates, and community organizations can design alternatives to parking, understand the costs and tradeoffs, and take the first steps toward bringing those ideas to life.
