Run & Reflect
Run and reflect with us to help make running in Amsterdam safer for all!
On 26 February, we’re hosting an evening focused on running safety in collaboration with All4Running.
The session includes guided runs that combine movement with reflection, inviting runners to actively explore how the running environment feels, from lighting and visibility to social safety and overall comfort.
Participants will run together on one of two pre-selected routes (5–7 km), share their experiences, and take part in a facilitated discussion about safety, perception, and inclusivity in public running spaces. The insights gathered will contribute to broader efforts to improve the running environment in Amsterdam.
Your input helps shape improvements to local running routes and contributes to a citywide safer-running map.
What to expect:
Welcome, briefing & bag drop
Guided group run on one of two routes (5 km) through Vondelpark & Rembrandtpark
Short, facilitated reflection moments during and after the run
Post-run feedback and group discussion
Opportunity to test GATO light vests during the run
Snacks and drinks provided
Both routes are suitable for an easy, conversational pace. This session is not about speed or performance, it’s about observation, shared experience, and working together to make running safer and more inclusive for everyone.
