New Pathways: A New York Climate Week Event

​At a moment when the need has never been greater and resources for change are becoming scarcer, founders and funders are increasingly questioning default assumptions about how companies should grow and be financed—and developing new commercialization models in response.

​In this next phase of experimentation, Activate sees a growing need to better define commercialization pathways for companies that aren’t well suited to traditional power-law venture capital. Drawing on more than a decade of helping launch hundreds of hard-tech companies, we see emerging opportunities to generate meaningful financial returns and climate impact.

​Join us for a small, invitation-only convening of a highly curated group of investors, allocators, catalytic funders, and field builders during New York Climate Week.  We’ll explore new hypotheses about how climate and hard-tech companies can commercialize and scale, hear from builders and capital providers putting them into practice, and dream together about what could come next.

​The event will include lunch and is followed by a private tour of the Activate deep tech showcase.
