The Soda is a small, relaxed social experience – one table, a few people, and real conversations. No awkward openers. No carrying the conversation. No pressure to be "the social one".
We match the group, choose the bar, design the questions, and guide the conversation from start to finish. All you do is sit down and talk. ❇️
👀 How the night works?
We bring a small group of people together (you and 5 others) at a cocktail bar in central Lisbon.
Each round begins with a simple, unexpected question. Nothing invasive. Nothing that requires you to be a brilliant storyteller. Just carefully designed, interactive questions that make real connection easier.✨
One person answers. Others join the conversation. Stories appear, people laugh, and the table gradually stops feeling like a table of strangers.
After the guided rounds, the structure disappears. Stay for another drink, continue a conversation or make plans with someone you connected with.⚡
Why a small table?
Because meeting more people doesn’t always mean making more friends. With up to 6 people, everyone gets a chance to speak. You can remember names, notice personalities and have conversations that go somewhere. You won’t leave with thirty new contacts. You may leave with one or two people you genuinely want to meet again.
🎯Before you even arrive:
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire. It helps us understand the group and create a comfortable table dynamic.
The day before the event, we’ll send you a brief introduction to the people joining you. So, you’ll arrive knowing a little about your table already.

🗓️ When: Saturday, 11th of July at 17:00
📍 Where: A stylish cocktail bar in central Lisbon — exact address shared only with your table (keeps it intimate, keeps out walk-ins).
🎟️ Event fee: €7 (early-bird)/€10 (general admission)/€15 (late bird). Prepaid only. Covers your place at a guided table and the full story experience. Drinks are paid separately (and they are worth it).
👥 Size: 6 seats. That's it.
⚡ Most SpeakTiger events in Lisbon sell out. This one is much smaller — so it'll go faster.

❓FAQ
- Can I come alone?
Yes — most people do. You're not walking into a crowd, you're sitting at a table of six where everyone's in the same boat. By the second story it won't feel like you came alone at all.
- I'm not a great storyteller — is this for me?
Especially for you. There's no performance, no stage. The question does the work — it pulls out a real memory and you just talk. People are far more interesting than they think when they stop trying to "introduce themselves."
- Do I have to share anything deep or personal?
No. The questions are made to be fun, not to put you on a therapist's couch. You choose what story to tell and how much to give.
- What if I don't click with the table?
Then you finish your drink and head home, no strings. It's a bar, not something you're stuck at. You're always in control of your night.
- Is this speed dating?
No romance pressure here. It's about real connection — friendships, interesting people, maybe your next favourite person in Lisbon. Whatever happens after is up to you.
- Who else will be at my table?
We read everyone's questionnaire to get a feel for the group, then put the tables together. The day before, you'll get a short intro to the people you'll be sitting with — so you arrive already knowing a little about them.
- Why is the location secret?
Keeping it private keeps the night intimate and avoids walk-ins. The exact address is shared only with your table.
- Are drinks included?
No, drinks are paid separately.
- How long does it last?
Plan for around 1.5 hours for the story rounds and free chat. Stay longer if you'd like.
