Quantified Self-Mastery
Have you every asked ChatGPT what it's noticed about you from your chats? Your most positive traits & your blindspots?
Many of us use ChatGPT, Claude, & other bots for our work, information gathering, brainstorming & refining our thoughts.
How many of us how tried using it as a tool of self-knowledge & understanding?
We talk to these robots all day (well at least I do), we share ideas, thoughts, & sometime emotions that we wouldn't share with most. We often aren't aware of exactly how powerful they can be at pulling out insights about us - even if we don't necessarily intend for them to do so.
We've also amassed huge historical data sets about ourselves, both digital & analog: journal entries, Apple Watch sleep data, personality quizzes, task management/productivity history, and so on. We're quantifying ourselves more & more every year.
This event will focus on how we can use our AI-companions as tools for introspection. Through self-discovery exercises & challenges, we'll use the quantified self methodology to new form of analysis to better our understanding of ourselves, our hidden skills & dark talents, and design more aligned goals & missions for our lives.
You don't have to have an extensive chat history to participate, and revealing your entire life history won't be necessary. We'll complete a few exercises at the beginning to familiarize the LLM instance with the real you (internally), cover a number of tools that augment your ability to do this introspective work, and conclude with a fun challenge highlighting the power of this approach as a tool for those seeking growth & improvement.
This is for those with an eternal growth-mindset, the lifelong learners, the quantified self-ers, & anyone looking to get 1% better everyday.
Hope to see you there!
