About Event

UBC Life Sciences Day: From Breakthrough Research to Global Impact

Connect with UBC researchers, discover emerging technologies, and explore partnership opportunities across the life sciences ecosystem. During Life Sciences BC Investment Week, UBC will host an Innovation & Industry Breakfast and a series of Lab Tours. Attendees will meet leading researchers and discover how UBC innovations are being translated into solutions for some of the world's most pressing health challenges.

This event is a collaboration with Innovation UBC, School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME), UBC's Faculty of Medicine, and Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH).

Details

At the UBC Innovation & Industry Breakfast, attendees will hear from UBC executive leadership, faculty members, and leading researchers showcasing innovations and commercialization initiatives advancing life sciences in British Columbia and beyond.

There will be opportunities to network and connect with world-renowned researchers and industry professionals over breakfast.

Following the breakfast, we will host small group Lab Tours at select research facilities across UBC's Point Grey campus, and hear directly from researchers about emerging discoveries, technologies, and commercialization opportunities. Speakers and tour locations are to be confirmed.

This invite-only event is designed for industry leaders, investors, UBC researchers, and innovation partners seeking high-impact collaboration opportunities across UBC’s life sciences community.
