Fútbol on the Block - Championship Edition
BY POPULAR DEMAND: “Fútbol on the Block” is back for the Championship Game!
Thank you to the 600+ neighbors who pulled up for our launch over the Fourth of July weekend. Your energy was incredible, and by popular demand, we are bringing the block party back for the ultimate championship match.
But we can’t do this without your support.
To pull this off and cover our operational costs, we need to fundraise. If everyone who is interested in attending chips in just $10, we can fully fund the event and lock it in.
To manage the space safely, ticket releases are tied to our fundraising milestones:
At 50% funded: We release the next batch of tickets.
At 100% funded: The final round of tickets opens up.
Plus, everyone who chips in will be entered into special giveaways during the watch party!
THE GAME PLAN: The Temescal Telegraph BID, Neighborhood Linguist, and 9 Julio Empanada Kitchen are transforming the block into an outdoor stadium featuring:
Watch Party: Live, HD broadcast of the championship match on a massive outdoor cinematic screen.
Salsa & Sound: A curated sound experience to celebrate community, culture, and connection amongst each other
Food & Drinks: Signature flavors from 9 Julio Empanada Kitchen, local food vendors, craft beer, and cocktails.
Community Village: Interactive local organizational tables and youth-friendly activities.

FAQ's
Are ins & outs allowed? - Yes!
Will there be seating? - Yes! We encourage you to bring your own low profile lawn chairs, 6x6 blankets, and shade of some sort. There are VIP seating options available for purchase.
Do you have to pay for entry? - No! This event is free to attend. There are opportunities to donate if you would like to support.
Are pets allowed? - Unfortunately no. We welcome service animals to the space.
Is there parking? - There is open street parking available on both Claremont Ave and Telegraph Ave. The Claremont DMV parking lot at Claremont Ave and Cavour St. is also available.
Is VIP for adults only? - No! VIP is a family - friendly section. We will be having mocktails available as well.
Are walk-ins welcome? - Yes! We encourage you to get a ticket in advance as space will be limited.
Are any ticket holders guaranteed entry besides VIP? - Yes! Donors are guarantees access to the event once they donate and will be prioritized over GA and walk-ins.
