Volunteering Untapped NYC: The City Tutors (March Event)
Volunteering Untapped NYC is on a mission to build community through volunteering. We host events every month on the second Saturday and partner with local organizations around the city.
This month, we are partnering with The City Tutors for a professional mentoring event with college students and young adults interested in learning about our careers and career journeys. The event will be hosted at Brooklyn Public Library - Williamsburg Branch, in the downstairs auditorium space.
Afterwards, we’ll head over to OTB to socialize over food and drinks!
About City Tutors
The City Tutors (CT) is a free, on-demand NYC-wide learning and career center that seeks to make individualized tutoring and professional mentoring readily available resources that first generation, immigrant, and historically low resourced communities across NYC can access at a time and pace they need
Socials
Volunteering Untapped socials are an optional way to further socialize with other volunteers; we encourage everyone to come out to the social! Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the restaurant, Eastwood
