​Perennial Gathering is a global convening for social innovators, funders, and ecosystem builders who believe that relationships drive change. When people come together in a relational space rooted in generosity, restoration, and meaningful connection, collaboration grows and innovation flourishes.

​From June 1-4, 2026, Perennial Gathering will invite 250+ leaders from around the world to the forest village of Karuizawa, Japan for a one-of-a-kind experience that blends the best of a conference, leadership training, and personal retreat—all thoughtfully designed and facilitated to build the trust and alignment needed to navigate today’s complexities and co-create a more generative future.

​Understanding Your Registration Cost

​The ticket prices shown below include Japanese Consumption Tax (10%), which is required by Japanese law for all conference registrations held in Japan.

​Price Breakdown:

​Cottage: $3,960 (registration) + $396 (JCT) = $4,356 total

​Hotel: $4,760 (registration) + $476 (JCT) = $5,236 total

​As a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are required to collect this tax and remit it directly to Japanese tax authorities. The tax is not retained by Perennial.
