THIS MONTH'S SESSION
Gord Boyce — Professional EOS Implementer® and founder of Mayflower Mountain Partners in Park City.
Most owners never notice the ceiling as a single moment. What they notice is that the thing which worked at five people is quietly failing at twenty-five, that the same four issues keep arriving at the same weekly meeting, and that they are the bottleneck in every one of them. EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System, is the way out, and Gord will walk through the whole of it in an hour: why growth stalls, the six components of a business that have to be strong to break through, and a quick way to tell which of them is weakest in your own company. The six are Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process and Traction. You will leave with one or two tools you can put in front of your leadership team the next morning.
He does not arrive as a theorist. He spent thirty years in technology and has been a chief executive twice. He says that at ForeScout Technologies he helped grow the company from $6 million to over $120 million in revenue, and from around 60 people to more than 400. Before EOS he held senior sales leadership roles at Nokia and RedSeal. He will talk about what he got wrong running a company at that scale, and which of it this would have caught.
Who it's for: owners and CEOs of privately held companies of roughly 10 to 250 people, in any industry. Especially useful if your company has grown and the way you ran it at five people is not working at twenty-five.
Bring the part of your business you would rather not put on a slide. We will leave about twenty minutes for questions.
