About Event

What is it about Heated Rivalry that has culture in a chokehold?

Why have the book—and its screen adaptation—resonated so deeply with femme-identifying audiences? What does it reveal about desire, fantasy, intimacy, and the ways we long to be seen and loved?

This evening is dedicated to exploring these questions and more through reading, writing, and reflection—centering the femme gaze and the stories that shape it. (no need to have read Heated Rivarly in advance!)

Bring any book that has influenced your understanding of desire—something that inspired you, challenged you, or lingered with you. We’ll share our selections, connect with one another, and take part in low-pressure writing prompts designed to spark insight, sexual empowerment and meaningful conversation.

Expect curiosity, warmth, writing and space to think together.

This event is open to femme and queer identifying individuals and hosted in partnership with Aurore, a literary magazine curating collections of erotic stories written by and for women based on their own experiences.

🎟️ Ticket includes light bites and guided programming
