The (Slightly Less) Terrible Comms Networkers
30 April 2026 | 18:30-21:30
@Galerie Bortier, Rue de la Madeleine 55, 1000 Brussels
⚡️ Meet up with professionals working in communications, marketing and advertising over an afterwork in Brussels.
Whether you’re new in town or looking to chat with other people in your field, join us for our monthly chill meet-up series to get your dose of inspiration, connection and community.
We've gained a bit of practice since our first edition, and we are back!
The first Terrible Comms Networkers meetup was so successful that we had requests for a second one before the first had even taken place. And many more messages like that for days on end after it. We’re still processing it all.
Well, we’re nothing if not obliging. You’ve asked for it, you’ve got it.
Join us for a second edition of The Terrible Comms Networkers on 30 April 2026 for a relaxed, informal, don’t-bother-with-the-business-cards-because-LinkedIn-exists meetup for Comms professionals in Brussels (and nearby).
Private sector? EU institutions? Civil society? Freelancing? It doesn’t matter: if you’re comms, you’re one of us, and we cannot wait to have you there.
Come as you are, expect nothing besides your own personal expectations, and help fulfill Ana Oliveira’s 2026 wish: to meet more people like us.
Wait, was there a first event? What did I miss?
Ana’s timid LinkedIn post in early January asking to connect with more professionals in the field became a snowball of enthusiasm and support. When it became clear that meeting with everyone individually was impossible, people started suggesting the idea of a big meetup.
This was the beginning of a beautiful partnership between Ana and Social Capital (she’s now officially part of the team, yay!), and we brought together over 200 communications professionals at Galerie Bortier for an evening of community, connection, and all things comms.
Help us make this second edition an even greater one!
Why The Terrible Comms Networkers? Aren’t Comms people great at networking?
Contrary to popular belief, many of us lack networking practice, as there aren’t that many events in Brussels focusing on Comms people. But fear not: not only are we changing that by being part of the solution, we’ve also got some practice with our first event. Now we’re slightly less terrible at it.
Anyway, enough blabbing.
See you on 30 April.
