Immersion: Pequeños Floristas
Pequeños Floristas is a bilingual introduction to flower farmers, flowers, and farm life for littles.
Part of our Community Helpers Series, this monthly bilingual experience highlights the people who help our community thrive through play, exploration, and real-world connections.
During our special visit to the farm, littles will engage in a gentle, bilingual, and hands-on experience in a real farm environment.
Children will:
Participate in an interactive bilingual story time inspired by flowers and gardens
Explore a local flower farm
Enjoy a guided U-Pick flower experience
Create a simple floral keepsake to take home
Practice flower and garden vocabulary through play and conversation
Spanish vocabulary will be woven naturally throughout the experience, helping children connect words like flor, pétalo, tallo, jardín, and ramo to real-life experiences in an age-appropriate way.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children, model curiosity, and support language learning through shared exploration and conversation.
After our activities, we invite families to slow down and enjoy a picnic dinner together at the farm. Bring your own dinner and blanket, or choose our catered picnic add-on for a relaxed and easy evening among the flowers.
