Boardgame night at Spilloteket 🎲
Come solo, join a game, and meet your new Wednesday night crew. 🎲
Spilloteket regularly hosts a relaxed board game night with a regular community of players—and for Welcome Week, they're adding a little extra fun and an extra-warm welcome for anyone who's new to Oslo (or new to Spilloteket!).
You don't need to bring a group, know anyone beforehand, or be a board game expert. Regulars will be around to welcome newcomers and help you find a table—just ask at the bar if you're not sure where to start.
For Welcome Week, everyone can enjoy Spilloteket's 50kr game pass (normally 70kr)!
There are two tables set aside for longer games (around 1.5–3+ hours), while the rest of the space is open for shorter games throughout the evening. You can drop in whenever you'd like, but if you're coming on your own or hoping to join a particular game, 18:00 is a good time to arrive before the tables start filling up.
English and Norwegian are both welcome, and board games give you something to do while the conversation happens naturally.
If you find your people, come back next Wednesday and do it all over again. 🎲
