Our member Krys is visiting from London, fresh off hosting the first Kindred gathering in Valencia—so we thought, why not spark an impromptu get-together here in Barcelona too?
We’ll be gathering at Anis, a beautiful new Lebanese café by Barceloneta beach, lovingly run by our local members Riana and Sanjali. The food is incredible, the vibe is fresh, and it’s the kind of space that naturally invites connection and community.

✨ Krys is a Dutch–Lebanese creative soul who’s been on the move for as long as she can remember, with London now as her latest home. An interior designer by day and professional shower singer by night, she also dabbles in tattooing and loves weekends spent horse riding, brunching, or wandering through museums. A lifelong sun seeker (despite choosing a famously grey city), Krys dreams of swaps in sunny destinations. She shares her home with Oreo, an independent 3-year-old cat who offers exactly two minutes of cuddles a day, and Iris, her affectionate 4-month-old cockapoo who doesn’t shed. She’s hoping to swap with a fellow animal lover who understands cats’ quirks and will happily welcome both Iris and her into their home.
✨ Riana is a Barcelona-based marketeer and bar owner with a love for both the buzz of the city and the calm of escaping it. When she’s not running her bar, you’ll find her traveling to visit friends and family scattered across the globe.
