Advanced Facial Anatomy & Procedural Safety Cadaver Masterclass
Injectables • Aesthetics • Facial Trauma and Reconstruction Principles
⚠︎ Limited Enrollment
A one-day, high-intensity cadaveric training experience focused on advancing facial anatomical knowledge to improve procedural safety in aesthetic, reconstructive, and trauma-related practice.
This course utilizes fresh-frozen human cadaver specimens and combines focused didactic teaching with extensive hands-on dissection. The emphasis is not only on anatomy identification, but on translating anatomical understanding into safer clinical decision-making across surgical and non-surgical facial procedures.
Participants will directly visualize facial neurovascular structures, explore injectable depth relationships, practice flap design concepts, and gain exposure to principles of rigid internal fixation used in facial trauma reconstruction.
Faculty from facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and other surgical specialties will provide real-time instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on guidance throughout the laboratory.
No clinical treatment of living patients will occur.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
Facial soft tissue anatomy with emphasis on safety zones and danger areas
Injectable anatomy and depth verification through cadaveric dissection
Surgical facial anatomy and clinically relevant dissection planes
Local flap design principles and reconstructive concepts
Facial trauma fundamentals, fracture alignment concepts, and exposure techniques
Principles of rigid internal fixation and facial plating systems
Complication avoidance strategies across aesthetic and reconstructive procedures
