Curiosity Meets Experience - by LIMES x ETHRC x WiR
Curiosity meets real-world experience at this collaborative session brought to you by LIMES, ETHRC, and Women in Robotics (WiR), held at the Swiss Innovation Park in Dübendorf.
The session is designed to give students direct access to industry professionals in a hands-on and relaxed setting, where open conversations and idea sharing take center stage.
Here's how the afternoon unfolds:
Professionals kick things off with short, one-slide introductions (15–20 minutes), giving students a genuine feel for who's in the room.
From there, around 30–40 students split into 6 small groups, each joined by one professional, to collaborate on developing a startup idea from scratch, before presenting it to the wider group (1–1.5 hours).
To close things out, there's dedicated time for casual networking, food, and informal chats, so students can follow up with the professionals they most want to learn from (open-ended, expecting around 1–1.5 hours).
Whether you come with a half-formed idea or simply a lot of questions, this is a rare opportunity to think alongside people who've navigated the challenges you're working toward, in a setting that actually makes room for real conversation. Come ready to collaborate.
