About Event

Exciting news! Our friend Susan Gottlieb, the dedicated environmentalist and creator of the acclaimed Gottlieb Native Garden, has invited our PNLC Group over for a rare personal tour. For the last two decades, she and her husband have collected and nurtured countless California native trees, shrubs, and annuals, arranging them around unique water features cut into the dramatic slopes of their two-acre property in Coldwater Canyon — just the next canyon over from our own!

To quote her website www.gottliebnativegarden.com: “The Gottlieb Native Garden is a flourishing California native plant ecosystem located just a couple of miles from Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills. The garden’s ecosystem is home to more than i200 hand-selected native plant species and over 1500 documented wildlife species. It has the special distinction of being both a National Wildlife Federation certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat and a Xerces Society designated Pollinator Habitat.”

Don’t miss this chance to see this spectacular garden and wildlife paradise -- we’ve never seen so many happy hummingbirds in one place!

We know you will find tons of inspiration for your own gardens…. Spaces are limited so please register early!

Please note:

  1. This family-friendly tour will be held outdoors in a sunny, hillside garden, so flat shoes, sunscreen, and hats are recommended.

  2. Save your registration confirmation QR code in a handy spot in your phone for us to scan.

  3. We will have a table set up with beautiful photography books authored by Susan and her husband on topics related to their garden and California native plants and wildlife. Your purchases will help to support their ongoing work!

See you in front of Susan’s residence at 3pm on Sunday, the 2nd of July!
