Your last minute chance to plant a native wildflower patch of your own! A “How to” Workshop Plus A Seed Giveaway and Sale! More info at https://lu.ma/plantnativelc202401
Our first Sunday meeting of the new year will be all about our amazing California native annuals -and how you can create your own wildflower bloom on your Laurel Canyon hillside!
Although we are past the best time to scatter native seeds (November and December before the first rains), we can still disperse them now, as late as January, to enjoy a spectacular bloom in March, April, and May.
We will arm you with all the info you need, AND we will have the seeds for convenient pick up right here in Laurel Canyon today after the meeting and throughout next week from my home.
We will go over the best wildflower garden possibilities — from all California poppies to multicolor mixes for hillside plots, container gardens, and all spots sunny and shady.
This will be a hybrid meeting: Join us in my garden (in the dome) or by Zoom this afternoon to learn about (or to offer advice if you are an expert!) creating an oasis for wildlife and people!

Please note:
This event is hybrid — it will be held in person in the garden dome cabin AND via Zoom, in case you don’t want to brave the expected high winds this afternoon.
