The Sound of Becoming is a curated music and salon style evening hosted by Human Better Company & Broome St Ganesh Temple exploring the intersection of sound, mantra, nervous system healing, and human transformation.
The evening will feature an immersive live performance and intimate fireside conversation with GRAMMY®-nominated artist, multi-instrumentalist, and sensory visionary Radhika Vekaria.
Together, we’ll explore how sound has long been used across ancient traditions as a technology for healing, remembrance, regulation, and collective connection and why practices like mantra, chanting, and intentional listening are re-emerging in modern culture today.
The conversation & music will move through different themes including:

Moderated by Aishwarya Balaji, 2x Founder & Investor, Somatic EFT Tapping Practitioner and Certified Reiki, Yoga & Meditation Teacher, the evening will blend thoughtful dialogue, storytelling, reflection, and live musical performance into a modern salon experience designed to nourish both intellect and spirit.
Part immersive concert, part cultural salon, The Sound of Becoming invites guests into a deeper exploration of what it means to listen to ourselves, to one another, and to something greater.

ABOUT RADHIKA VEKARIA
Radhika Vekaria is a GRAMMY®-nominated multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and sensory artist known for blending Sanskrit mantra, cinematic soundscapes, and global musical influences into deeply immersive experiences. Drawing from her British, East African, and Indian heritage, her work bridges ancient Vedic traditions with modern sound and consciousness practices.
She was the first mantra artist to perform at SXSW and has collaborated with cultural figures including Jeff Koons, Rihanna, and Sir Paul McCartney. Her latest album, Warriors of Light, has been performed at venues including the GRAMMY Museum and Harvard University and has been featured in Rolling Stone India, People Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune.
