​For decades, women’s health has been under-researched, underfunded and too often dismissed in clinical care. Today, that is beginning to change. Scientists are pushing the frontier into understanding the intricacies of the female anatomy and reproductive health while developing novel ways to diagnose and treat conditions such as PMOS and endometriosis.

​Dr. Shilpa Pothapragada, Principal Scientist and Program Lead at PopVax, leads its endometriosis research programme, working closely with clinicians aiming to move research from the laboratory to patient care as quickly as possible. Her personal experience navigating an often unyielding healthcare system has fuelled her passion to make female health research her life’s mission. She has now also joined SrotaBio as our Chief Scientific Advisor.
