Ten suns once scorched the earth until Houyi shot down nine, saving the world he loved. For it he was given the elixir of immortality. But it was Chang'e who drank it alone, rising to the moon, where she remains.
This Mid-Autumn, Studio 9.5 and Kio Supper Club tell that story across an intimate multi-course dinner, built around sweet chili crab as the entree, with tea pairings throughout. At the table sits a centerpiece of ten suns, each holding a fortune. Every guest takes one home.
Kio Supper Club is a bridge between cultures: a supper club serving a reimagined Malaysian tasting menu.
Studio 9.5 is a bicoastal experiential design studio specializing in brand environments for food, beverage, and beauty brands whose products can't be experienced on a screen.
