Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)

​The Polsky Center and Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Group will host the Venture Capital Investment Competition in person on January 8, 2027, at the Gleacher Center. Watch six Chicago Booth teams compete in this VC investment simulation, with opportunities to observe as they engage in due diligence sessions with entrepreneurs and negotiate VC term sheets. It’s a great opportunity to observe the full VC investment process in a condensed format.

​Register to join at various times throughout the day to watch the competition:

• ​8:30–11:20 a.m.: Welcome remarks, startup pitches, and due diligence sessions.

• ​12:40–1:50 p.m.: Partner meetings where teams present their term sheets to judges.

• ​3:30–4:30 p.m.: Closing reception and awards announcement.
