About Event

The event is open to all.

This workshop brings together the ETA community to talk about the ETA journey through a woman’s lens. The event will feature women across the full arc of ETA — those evaluating whether to search, currently searching, and leading the companies they acquired.

The first panel addresses questions that precede a search: how to assess readiness, whether searching is the right path, and how to prepare effectively, with panelists including both searchers who completed acquisitions and those who did not.

The second panel examines the experience after a search, from stepping into the CEO seat to working with a board or lender and balancing the role with personal and family priorities. It features three operators who have bought and run businesses in varying ETA models.

Dedicated networking time is built into the evening, before and following the panels. The event is open to all. Those who check in upon arrival will receive a discount code for the 2026 Booth-Kellogg ETA Conference.

The evening’s schedule is as follows:

  • 5:00–5:45 p.m. - Pre-panel networking

  • 5:45–6:45 p.m. - Panel 1: How do I know if I’m ready to search? What happens if…

  • 7:00–8:00 p.m. - Panel 2: How to be a CEO and manage it all

  • 8:00–8:30 p.m. - Networking

Thank you to our event co-sponsors: Women's Search Network and Northwestern Kellogg.
