About Event

An evening retreat at Primal Moves Venice.

We are all inundated with noise, all the time. It comes from our phones, our work, our feeds, and our obligations. Not only is there noise around us, but there's noise within us too. Our thoughts, emotions, and internal reactivity can keep us locked in endless cycles of doing. In the middle of all of this, it can be hard to slow down and hear ourselves. To connect with a deeper knowing that helps us navigate our lives.

This evening retreat is an opportunity to step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself. You can think of it as a taste of a silent retreat, without needing to go away for ten days.

We believe that knowing ourselves more deeply changes the way we move through the world. It shapes how we make decisions, how we relate to the people we love, how we meet difficulty, and how authentically we are able to live. Silence gives us the rare chance to turn inward and hear what gets lost in the middle of all the noise.

We will begin together with a short talk, journaling, and conversation. Music will then guide us into silence, first in stillness and then with the freedom to move, stretch, journal, drink tea, or simply rest. A care space with a facilitator will be available if anything comes up.

Of course, you could spend a few hours in silence on your own. But there is something different about doing it together. Being in a room full of people who have all chosen to enter the silence can make it easier to go deeper and feel supported in the process.

You are not being asked to have any particular experience. This is simply an opportunity to slow down, listen, and notice what’s there.

We will close by coming back together to reflect and break bread.

No meditation experience needed. Only a willingness to slow down and listen.

About your facilitators:

About Lee:
Lee Cholodenko is a self-mastery and executive coach, facilitator, and entrepreneur whose work centers on helping people develop more loving relationships with themselves and others. Drawing from psychology, wisdom traditions, and a deep personal practice, he has coached individuals, founders, and executives, and facilitated personal and leadership development experiences for teams, organizations, and MBA students. He is also the creator of The Middle, an in-person gathering in Venice for inner work and meaningful connection. Lee is co-hosting this evening because he has seen, both in his own life and in his work with others, how slowing down enough to truly listen can change the way we understand ourselves and move through our lives.

About Tyler

Tyler Gustafson is co-creator of Primal Moves Venice, and a Bhakti Yogi and student of tea, devoted to the practice of sacred service through the art of sharing tea, presence, and devotional chanting. He is passionate about creating moments of connection through silence. Tyler is co-hosting this evening to explore what opens up when we finally stop and listen to our bodies, and how, with the support of community, we can find the courage to follow what they tell us.

We look forward to being in silence with you 🙏❤️😊✨
