Community Coffee Takeover - From Feature to Product: The Road Bumps Along the Way

What happens when the solution you set out to build turns out to be just one piece of a much bigger opportunity?

Join Dawn Osland, Founder of Osland Medical Billing Tools Inc., as she shares her entrepreneurial journey from the CMGP Calculator to the Alberta Healthcare Billing Academy.

What started as a simple tool to solve a specific problem quickly turned into something much bigger. But getting from a feature to a product wasn't exactly a straight road. There were unexpected detours, a few wrong turns, plenty of learning curves, and more than a few moments of “Well, that wasn't part of the plan!”

Through an open and candid conversation, Dawn will share the lessons, pivots, and unexpected discoveries that helped reshape her business and her vision along the way.

Because sometimes the biggest opportunity isn't the product you started building — it's the one you discover along the way. Thanks to Alberta Innovates for fueling our Community Coffee events!
