Integrating Natural Climate Solutions into Renewable Energy Infrastructure: An Expert Visioning Session
As clean energy faces fierce headwinds, and as the threat of climate change to conservation grows ever larger, how can we unite across sectors and disciplines to ensure that progress on clean energy not only continues, but complements conservation and restoration of nature? Going beyond smart siting of renewables and transmission, is there a shared vision for what integrating nature and habitat could look like? Are there road maps to get us to that vision, or is it time we made one?
We hope you'll join us for this limited-participation, roundtable discussion facilitated by Dr. Diane Pataki, Chief Scientist at the National Wildlife Federation, where we’ll create space for frank dialogue and idea exchange, with Chatham House Rules. Participants will leave with fresh ideas, new connections, and a sense of strategic priorities and opportunities.
The event will take place at the Treehouse at Doris Duke Center—a dedicated hub for inspiring conversations, collaboration, idea generation and action on nature and natural climate solutions—during Climate Week NYC 2025.
