About Event

Dignity Network Canada and Journalists for Human Rights are pleased to invite you to a special Pride Month panel, featuring Yvee Odour (Executive Coordinator, galck+ Kenya) and Justin Ling (Investigative Journalist, Toronto Star).

The conversation will center on how media shapes the narrative around LGBTQ rights globally: who tells the stories, from where and with what effect. Yvee will bring her perspective as an activist and community leader in Kenya; Justin will bring his journalist's eye to what gets covered and missed as well as what responsible reporting in this space actually looks like.

Taking place at the Allied Music Centre Theatre, on the 6th floor of Allied Music Centre (23 Shuter St Toronto ON).

Registration required. Seats are limited. Feel free to share this event with your network.
