Who tells the story? A Pride Month conversation on media, narratives and 2SLGBTQIA+ rights

​Dignity Network Canada and Journalists for Human Rights are pleased to invite you to a special Pride Month panel, featuring Yvee Odour (Executive Coordinator, galck+ Kenya) and Justin Ling (Investigative Journalist, Toronto Star).

​The conversation will center on how media shapes the narrative around LGBTQ rights globally: who tells the stories, from where and with what effect. Yvee will bring her perspective as an activist and community leader in Kenya; Justin will bring his journalist's eye to what gets covered and missed as well as what responsible reporting in this space actually looks like.

​Taking place at the Allied Music Centre Theatre, on the 6th floor of Allied Music Centre (23 Shuter St Toronto ON).
