Let’s toast to how far you’ve come and what’s next!

After a sold-out NYC debut in August, Wine, Women & Wisdom is back for a final 2025 gathering. This time, we’re throwing a wrap party: part celebration, part reflection, and entirely in good taste.

Hosted by sommelier + strategist Megumi Calver, this is an intimate, off-the-record evening for thoughtful, ambitious women who want more depth from their wine and their conversations.

(Previous guests called it “welcoming, supportive, and inspiring,” and “the opposite of stuffy LinkedIn vibes.”)

🎉 This Month’s Theme

The Wrap Party: Uncork, Connect, and Celebrate

We’ll sip, reflect, and connect while setting the stage for the year ahead (don’t worry, no new year's resolutions here). Think of this as a palate-cleansing moment: a chance to pause, take stock, and celebrate the growth you didn’t know you’d already made.

🍷 The tasting will feature organic Italian wines, all woman-owned and woman-made!

🥂 What You’ll Get:

  • Real Talk: Structured, open conversations to reflect on your year with other professionals — what worked, what didn’t, and what you’re bringing into 2026

  • Real Wine: Curated and guided tasting led by sommelier & wine importer Sheila Donohue, CEO and founder of Vero. All wines are woman-owned, sustainably made, and small-production!

  • Real Connection: Breakout groups and conversations that actually feel good. You’ll leave with at least 3 new connections (and probably more!)

🍷 Featured Woman Winemaker:

Antonella Manuli — Founder of Fattoria La Maliosa

Antonella was the first to bring a fully sustainable wine and olive oil project to Southern Tuscany, developing the patented Metodo Corino — an innovative, nature-first approach to farming that redefines what sustainable winemaking looks like.

Organic since 2010 and certified for sustainable quality, her wines are bold in both flavor and philosophy.

🍇 Wine Tasting Led By:

Sheila Donohue — Founder & CEO, VeroVino

Now based in Italy, New Yorker-turned-sommelier Sheila sources small-batch, under-the-radar wines from producers like Antonella and brings them to curious drinkers across the U.S.

🧀 Light Bites Curated By:

Sophia Wronsky — Writer & founder of Sophia Is Voracious

A strategist-turned-entrepreneur, Sophia writes about the intersection of food, business, and culture. She’ll be pairing the wines with bites that will teach you how to play matchmaker at home!

🎁 Also Included:

  • Welcome bubbles by a Ukrainian woman winemaker using rare Uva Tosca grapes

  • Light bites throughout the evening

  • A warm, energetic room full of brilliant women to wrap the year with

👯‍♀️ Who This Is For:

Leaders, builders, creatives, side-hustlers, corporate renegades, and thoughtful women navigating career and life with ambition, curiosity, and humor. You don’t need to be a wine expert to attend. Just someone who wants something deeper than small talk!

💬 What Guests Said About Our Last NYC Event:

“What stood out most was how genuine the energy in the room felt - people showed up open, vulnerable, and ready for truly authentic conversations. It was definitely the opposite of ‘stuffy LinkedIn vibes.’ Instead, it felt welcoming, supportive, and inspiring - like connecting with real women who actually want to uplift each other.”

"A beautifully curated event that struck the perfect balance between sophistication and warmth… The evening brought together an impressive group of women, and I was genuinely surprised by the depth of connections made in just a few hours. Quality wine, thoughtful curation, and excellent company - exactly what you hope for but rarely find.”

“Wine was great, it was a good mix of activity, and connection. I didn’t even want to take out my phone, I was having such a good time. The women I met were so diverse and so interesting. I can’t wait to see who I’ll meet next time.”

Space is limited.

Intimate by design. Come for the wine, stay for the connection!
