YEAR OF THE HORSE Lunar New Year Potluck Special
We're we are partnering with Smith + Parka, Essex Market, Borderless, Chinatown Social, and Dumpling Dude for a MASSIVE potluck with a short program, dumpling making led by the one and only Dumpling Dude Lenny, and select food and drink vendors to enjoy!
Each contribution is designed around a core Horse-year quality—inviting guests to eat with intention and step into 2026 together for huge celebration of momentum, courage, and forward motion.
Lunar Hard Seltzer, Dirty Water, & Wild Mannered will all be providing libations for the evening, including various food vendors such as Rose's Pineapple Shorts and Nine Treasure's Creamery.
The themes of the potluck dishes are:
1. Movement & Flow
Liquids that symbolize momentum, adaptability, and life in motion
Anything that pours, simmers, or stirs—meant to warm, loosen, and carry us forward, with flavors that feel both transporting and unexpected.
Examples:
– Brothy soups & stews
– Exotic tonics

2. New Beginnings & Vitality
Eggs and greens as symbols of renewal, growth, and fresh energy
Dishes that speak to life restarting, strength returning, and the courage to begin again.

3. Opportunity & Success
Wrapped foods representing fortune, protection, and possibility
