About Event

October 9, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the naming of San Francisco. In recognition of this civic milestone, The Fold, MAX_415, and Radio Africa Kitchen are hosting a focus group on October 8 to reflect on the city’s past, surface ideas for current action, and set intention for SF's civic health far into the future. As hosts, we're excited about the potential for third spaces to elevate social connections and achieve high-impact changes over the coming year!

To help shape the focus group as well as plans for the year ahead, please respond candidly and creatively to the following questions by October 2, 2026: Open Google Form

A response to the Google Form survey is required to attend the 10/8 focus group. Invitations to the 10/8 focus group will be confirmed by Monday 10/5.

Focus group details: Dinner by Radio Africa Kitchen @ 6. Discussion begins promptly @ 6:30.

Survey responses and focus group results will inform SF250 projects during the coming year.

Please direct questions to angela@max415.org.
