Columbia in Tech Careers Panel
We’re excited to be hosting a tech industry career paths panel in partnership with Columbia Athletics this fall, which will focus on exposing student-athletes and athletics alumni to various career paths in technology. We're excited to host the following superstar panelists:
Eric Rubin, Principal at Red Swan Ventures (CC 2016): Eric is a Principal at Red Swan Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund writing pre-seed and seed check across industries including marketplaces, enterprise software and consumer internet businesses. Red Swan has backed generational founders from Coinbase, Scopely, SeatGeek, Hinge, Warby Parker, and many others. Prior to joining Red Swan, Eric was on the founding team at Pie, a consumer tech product backed by top investors including Lightspeed, Forerunner, and other top investors. Eric began his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. He holds a BA in Political Science and was captain of the tennis team.
Mike Donohue, SVP of Global Sales at Gupshup (CC 2011): Mike leads a team of global sales and GTM professionals at Gupshup, the world's leading conversational engagement platform. Mike's team is responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction across 30+ messaging channels and 45+ countries worldwide. Prior to joining Gupshup, Mike was the Head of Go-To-Market and Commercialization at PayPal, where he launched and grew PayPal’s first products and services for marketers. Mike holds a BA in Political Science and Information Science. Mike was captain of the heavyweight rowing team and rowed on the U.S. National Team.
