About Event

Girls Into VC is thrilled to host a fireside chat with Emily Cohen, Partner at Neo and Head of the Neo Accelerator, whose path into venture has been anything but traditional.

With a background in Computer Science and Economics from Stanford, Emily has worn many hats—software engineer at Google, business analyst at McKinsey, nonprofit operator, and event planner—before finding her home in venture capital. Today, she leads the Neo Accelerator, where she supports student founders and early-stage startups through one of the most selective and supportive programs in the industry.

Neo is a community-first VC fund built by technologists for the next generation of builders—and if you’re a student passionate about startups or VC, you’ll definitely want to tune in.

Join us to hear how Emily made the leap from big tech and social impact to venture, what she looks for in founders, and her advice for students hoping to break into the field.
