Author Talk with Zachary Zane: Boyslut – On Shame, Sexuality & Self-Liberation
In conversation with psychotherapist Jack Lambert
To launch our month-long exploration of relationships and identity, Lit Club NYC is honored to host a special conversation with writer, columnist, and LGBTQ+ advocate Zachary Zane on his book Boyslut: A Memoir and Manifesto.
Part personal narrative, part cultural critique, Boyslut traces Zach’s journey through bisexuality, shame, desire, and the pursuit of sexual freedom. It’s bold, funny, vulnerable, and deeply human—challenging the stigma around queerness, masculinity, and what it means to live in a body without apology.
In our conversation we'll be joined by Jack Lambert, a NYC-based psychotherapist who specializes in therapeutic care for gay men and queer communities. Together, we'll dig into questions like:
How do shame and desire shape our sense of self?
What does sexual liberation look like in practice—not just theory?
How do we rewrite the narratives we inherit about gender, identity, and intimacy?
What does it mean to feel at home in our own bodies?
Come ready to listen, laugh, question, and rethink what freedom can look like.
🎟️Ticket price includes cocktails, book, access to the event and guided programming!
