Wer bin ich noch, wenn mein digitales Ich überall verstreut ist? In «still loading» steht eine einzelne Figur auf der Bühne und begegnet ihren unzähligen Online-Versionen: Avataren, Profilen, digitalen Echos. Was zunächst nach Science-Fiction klingt, ist längst Alltag: Wir existieren gleichzeitig in Chats, auf Plattformen, in Datenbanken.
Das Stück von Maria Milisavljević in der Regie von Julián Ignacio Garcés stellt die Frage, was vom Menschen übrig bleibt, wenn Körper und Daten verschwimmen. Ein poetischer, bildstarker Theaterabend über Identität, Sehnsucht und die ständige Suche nach einem stabilen Selbst im digitalen Zeitalter.
Im Anschluss an das Stück diskutieren Maria Milisavljević, Julián Ignacio Garcés und die Schauspielerin Sofia Borsani zusammen mit der Neurowissenschaftlerin Prof. Dr. Emily Cross vom Social Brain Sciences Lab der ETH Zürich.

Who am I when my digital self is scattered everywhere? In “still loading,” a single figure stands on stage and encounters her countless online versions: avatars, profiles, digital echoes. What initially sounds like science fiction has long been part of everyday life: we exist simultaneously in chats, on platforms, in databases.
The play by Maria Milisavljević, directed by Julián Ignacio Garcés, asks what remains of a person when body and data become blurred. A poetic, visually powerful evening of theater about identity, longing, and the constant search for a stable self in the digital age.
After the play, Maria Milisavljević, Julián Ignacio Garcés, and actress Sofia Borsani will discuss the topic with neuroscientist Prof. Dr. Emily Cross from the Social Brain Sciences Lab at ETH Zurich.
