"Living Room" Bioart Exhibition

​Moving day is around the corner and we welcome you to our living rooms. "Living Room" is a group show presented by the Genspace Biomaterials Studio, a research collective of artists, designers, and scientists exploring the intersection of living materials and design. With a focus on furniture, members of the group collaborated with varying living materials to fabricate original pieces. These pieces are designed to be composted or easily broken down for a circular economy - a crucial part of moving towards a healthier society and planet. This community project group has taken a playful approach to the emerging field of biodesign and reimagined the future of living spaces.
