​Join us for an online studio visit with New York–based artist Chris Dorland, connecting live from his studio and guided by curator Marlene Corbun.

Dorland’s practice spans painting, installation, and digital media, exploring how networked systems, interfaces, and technical constraints shape images and perception. Rather than depicting systems directly, his work translates their pressures - compression, distortion, erosion, and extraction - into dense, materially charged surfaces that bridge digital circulation and physical presence. The visit will offer insight into his current body of work and an open conversation with the artist.
