AWSTARS 2-Year Runniversary

​Join AWSTARS (Asian Women Stay Running) as we celebrate TWO YEARS of community, culture, and movement.

​ALL run crews are invited for a 3-mile social run from Cafe Diem to the East River Picnic Area, where we’ll gather by the water to mingle and enjoy snacks. Along the way, you’ll hear from local organizations and learn about their impact on the AANHPI community.

​Open to all genders and paces, run or walk.

​Time: 9:00AM Meet, 9:30AM Run - Post Run Picnic until 12:30 PM

​Start Location: Cafe Diem (37 Bowery)

​End Location: East River Picnic Area

​AWSTARS was founded in 2024 by Claudette Sariya and Ellie Windham as NYC's first all AANHPI women's run club. Joined by co-captains Kathy Eng and Sam Pawlak, AWSTARS is a space where women runners of all levels can feel empowered, supported, and seen. We are excited for what the future holds!
