Emil Chan
Emil is the Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Digital Finance Association and a visiting lecturer for the Conducting and Teaching Programme FIN7900 Cybersecurity, Privacy and RegTech for Finance of the Master in FinTech for the School of Business at Hong Kong Baptist University.
Panelists
Dr. Albert Koo
Dr. Koo is the Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of Dongguan International Limited. He previously served as Alternate Chief Executive and Chief Risk Officer at Airstar Bank, one of the eight digital banks in Hong Kong. He is a seasoned banking executive with extensive banking experience in Hong Kong and China. Dr. Koo received his DBA from City University of Hong Kong and MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and HKUST Business School. Dr. Koo holds both CFA and FRM charters.
Jackal Chau
Jackal is the General Manager of the Technology Business at HKBN Enterprise Solutions and a Co-Owner at HKBN Enterprise Solutions. With a career that began at IBM, Jackal has become a prominent IT leader in Hong Kong. He previously served as the Head of Operations and Service Delivery at Macroview Telecom (now part of HGC Group), where he managed a large technical team. At HKBN, he now oversees a team of over 500 professionals, driving service delivery, security, and cloud solutions. A graduate of The University of Hong Kong, Jackal has a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects, including major infrastructure build-outs and data center migrations for some of Hong Kong's most significant organizations. His professional philosophy is "Energy and persistence conquer all things."
Ray Rudowski
Ray is the Founder & Managing Director of Epic Communications. He is also a Lecturer for the Graduate Program at Hong Kong Baptist University, where he teaches "Issues in Corporate Communication." His course, structured like a reality TV show, focuses on the concept of "Trust" as defined by Charles Green in "The Trusted Advisor." Students work with real clients on communication and positioning strategies under tight deadlines, developing their skills in group work, presentation, and strategic thinking.
