βOur past Yale-NUS climbing socials were extremely well attended, and many of you asked for a session that is more welcoming for complete beginners. Weβre bringing the community together for a low-pressure evening of bouldering, encouragement, and post-climb dinner/networking.

βThis is a social, non-competitive session designed to help more Yale-NUS alumni try climbing for the first time while reconnecting with fellow alumni.
βClimba Gym is one of the safest gyms in Singapore, with a record-low incident rate and friendly facilities super well-maintained in the heart of the CBD.
βπΈ S$5 accountability co-payment A S$5 payment to the Jolene is required to secure your place and help us keep attendance commitments reliable. Payment instructions will be sent after sign-up. All co-payments will go to the Yale-NUS Club to cover administration and operational expenses.
ββ οΈ Important: Participants must complete the required climbing-gym waiver and safety briefing before taking part. Bouldering involves inherent physical risk; please climb within your comfort level and follow all facilitator and gym instructions.

βAssumption of Risk
βI acknowledge and fully understand that participating in this Event may involve inherent risks, dangers, and hazards. These risks may result in property damage, physical or psychological injury, illness, or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Yale-NUS Club and the National University of Singapore (NUS) or others, and I assume full responsibility for my participation.
βRelease and Waiver of Liability
βI hereby fully and forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Yale-NUS Club and NUS, including their respective trustees, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, EXCO members and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in this Event. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties, as well as any claims related to the management or disbursement of funds by NUS. This release does not extend to claims for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
βIndemnification and Hold Harmless
βI agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or connected to my participation in the Event, my use of the Releaseesβ facilities, or any breach of this Agreement by me. This means I will reimburse the Yale-NUS Club and NUS if anyone else brings a claim against them due to my actions or involvement.
βMedical Authorisation
βIn the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorise the Yale-NUS Club to secure emergency medical treatment on my behalf. I assume full financial responsibility for any costs related to such medical treatment and transport, and acknowledge that neither the Yale-NUS Club nor NUS is obligated to provide medical care or insurance.
