Waking Up the Science of Sleep: Celebrating Emmanuel Mignot’s 2026 Lasker Award
The Consulate General of France in San Francisco is delighted to invite you to a special evening celebrating Professor Emmanuel Mignot, Stanford University researcher and recipient of the 2026 Albert Lasker Award for his groundbreaking contributions to sleep medicine and our understanding of narcolepsy.

Building on decades of research, his work also extends to the intersection of sleep science and artificial intelligence, using agentic AI and foundation models to uncover new insights into sleep physiology and its connections to human health.
Hosted at the Résidence de France in San Francisco, this special reception will bring together members of the scientific, academic, and innovation communities to celebrate his remarkable achievements.
The evening will feature remarks by Valérie Brisset, Consul General of France in San Francisco, followed by a short talk by Professor Mignot and a networking cocktail.
