From Agave to Spirit

​On March 14, we invite you to Nourished Collective for an intimate evening exploring the biocultural heritage of mezcal.

​

​Mezcólatra introduces Mezcal Carreño, a family producer from San Dionisio Ocotlán, Oaxaca, crafting artisanal mezcal for three generations, since 1904. Earth ovens, tahona milling, natural fermentation, and careful distillation are among the ancestral techniques that will be explored with authentic artifacts brought from Mexico, while tasting the spirits.

​The evening begins with a guided tasting experience featuring six distinct mezcals, each paired with a course designed to honour its aroma, structure, and character. The menu brings Mexican culinary soul into conversation with seasonal German ingredients, translating the agave landscape into contemporary plates.

​After the guided tasting, the space opens into a relaxed mezcal bar and social gathering. Guests are invited to revisit their favourite expressions, enjoy cocktails, and continue the evening with music and conversation.
