California ACP Presents: Implant Complications with Dr. Ken Kurtz

​We are pleased to announce that after several years of inactivity, the California Section of the ACP is reactivating. Along with a dedicated group of volunteers, we have been working hard to rebuild a community that brings our profession together for learning and camaraderie.

​For our inaugural event, we will be hosting a hybrid lecture, both in-person at USC and online via live webinar. We hope you can join us!

​Course Description

​It is not well understood why implants integrate, and why they de-integrate.

​Complications occur, with seemingly increased incidence, for both implant-supported fixed and removable prostheses. Knowledge gained by teaching at three NYC metropolitan area graduate programs for the past decade and a half have revealed many of these “complications.” This interactive program will share attendee’s thoughts on solutions, or better yet, approaches to avoid these undesirable events.

​2.0 CE units will be provided to both in-person and virtual attendees after filling out the course evaluation.

​This continuing education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) through joint efforts between The American College of Prosthodontists and the California Section of The American College of Prosthodontists.
