New Office Hours 9

​New Office Hours is an all-day event in Toronto, where individuals across disciplines come together to hang out, complete focused work, share what they are working on, and gather feedback.

​This Office Hours in particular will be run as an experiment to test a new location, which we believe can serve as the nexus for a New Campus in the west end of Toronto.

​Later in the evening, we will be running a separate event known as Open Demos.

​Purchasing a ticket to Office Hours provides access to the space for the full day (meaning you will instantly be approved for evening programming).

​Format

​Generally, the day starts off quietly with dedicated time for deep work through synchronized pomodoros. This gradually unravels as the day goes on into a collaborative, open discussion where attendees can share their work, ideas, and experiments.

• ​9AM - 10AM: Opening

• ​10AM - 12PM: Deep Work

• ​12:00PM - 1:00PM: Lunch

• ​1:00PM - 3:00PM: Deep Work

• ​3:00PM - 6:30PM: Free

• ​6:30PM - 10:00PM: Open Demos

​Logistics

​The surrounding area of the building is a beautiful neighbourhood with a variety of eats, cafes, as well as access to McCormick Park.

• ​Location: Exact studio location/unit will be provided to accepted attendees.

• ​​Duration: Open (9AM+)

• ​Food & Beverage: Some snacks and light refreshments will be provided in addition to a planned trip to iMANISHi SANDO BAR, as well as serendipitous coffee walks to nearby cafes.
