Annual Event - United Kingdom Style
Venue confirmed: Pennyhill Park, Surrey
A 19th-century manor house in 120 acres of parkland, 25 minutes from Heathrow. Easy to get to, easier still to settle into — comfortable, unhurried, and full of quiet corners for the conversations that end up being the best part of the weekend.
Dates: Thursday 15 October (overnight) to Friday 16 October
We begin on Thursday evening with a cocktail reception in the Stuart Room from 8:00pm, which gives everyone a proper chance to catch up over good food and wine before the weekend gets going.
On Friday morning we'll sit down together for a few hours of open discussion. There's deliberately no fixed programme here, the thinking in this group is the whole point of the weekend, so rather than hand you an agenda, we'll shape the conversation around what you want to dig into. From there we move to a long, unhurried brunch, and this is where the weekend really opens up: carry the morning's conversations on over the table, stay on into the afternoon, or make a full weekend of it. How long you stay is entirely up to you.
Speakers and discussion: we're now confirming expert attendees to join us for the sessions. Just as importantly, this is your room - we'd welcome your input on the themes and topics you'd like to address and how you'd like to spend the time. Event fee: £1,299 per person, covering the event programme, reception, dinner, and brunch. Accommodation is not included.
Accommodation: We are holding rooms at Pennyhill Park for our group, these will be booked and paid for directly by members - details will be shared following registration and confirmed numbers. A range of alternative hotels in the area is also available for those who prefer.
Optional add-ons: we're tentatively planning some additional activities around the gathering, available for an extra fee. QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot falls on Saturday 17 October, just 12 minutes away, for anyone wanting to extend the weekend - and there's plenty more nearby, from golf and countryside pursuits to the hotel's spa. We'd welcome your input on what you'd like to see organised.
