2️⃣ 审核与确认
报名提交后，您将先收到一封 “Pending Approval” 邮件。
请注意，Pending Approval 状态下银行卡显示的仅为预授权（Pending），并非实际扣款。
审核完成后：
✅ 审核通过（Approved）：系统将完成正式扣款，并发送确认邮件，您的报名方视为成功。
❌ 审核未通过（Rejected）：银行卡预授权将自动取消，不会产生任何实际扣款。
本次活动将综合以下因素进行审核：
已毕业校友优先；
报名先后顺序；
所选行业圆桌的席位情况；
为保证讨论质量及行业多元性所进行的整体圆桌配置。
由于目前候补（Waitlist）人数较多，而各行业圆桌席位有限，我们无法保证每位报名者都能获得参会机会，敬请理解。
如报名信息不完整、无法核实，或不符合本次活动的参会要求，主办方有权不予批准或取消报名。
3️⃣ 候补机制
活动名额满员后，后续报名将自动进入候补名单（Waitlist），候补期间银行卡显示的仅为预授权（Pending），并非实际扣款。。
如有席位释放，主办方将根据候补顺序及整体圆桌配置需要进行审核；仅在候补申请获得批准并转为正式席位后，系统才会完成扣款并发送确认邮件。
💡 如果您已收到 Approved 确认邮件，但因个人原因无法参加活动，请尽早联系我们。
我们将根据活动退款政策协助您办理退款，并及时释放您的圆桌席位，让更多候补校友有机会参与活动。
如您仍处于 Waitlist 状态且已无法参加，也请及时取消申请，以避免席位释放后自动获批并完成扣款。
4️⃣ 圆桌安排
主办方将根据参与者填写的行业、职业背景及兴趣方向安排圆桌。
我们会尽力参考参与者的选择，但由于各桌容量有限，无法保证每位参与者都被安排至第一志愿圆桌。最终分桌安排以活动当天签到信息为准。
取消与退款规则
1. 参与者主动取消
活动开始前7天以上取消：
可申请退还实际可退还的报名费用。第三方票务及支付平台已经产生且无法退还的手续费，将从退款中扣除。
请直接通过报名页面取消，并按系统提示完成退款申请。如系统无法自动处理，请联系主办方协助。
活动开始前7天以内取消，或活动当天缺席：
原则上不予退款。
由于本次活动需要提前完成分桌、座位及餐饮安排，报名名额不得私下出售、转让或更换参与者。如确有特殊情况，请提前联系主办方；是否允许更换参会人，将由主办方根据参会资格及圆桌安排另行审核。
2. 主办方取消或延期活动
如活动因不可抗力或主办方原因取消，主办方将退还实际收取的报名费用。第三方平台手续费能否退还，将以票务或支付平台的实际退款规则为准。
如活动延期，主办方将另行通知参与者，并说明保留席位或申请退款的安排。

1️⃣ 本次活动不接受现场报名或临时加入。未获得正式确认邮件的人员无法入场。
2️⃣ 本次活动主要面向墨尔本大学校友，并设有少量特邀行业人士及学生席位。主办方有权核实报名信息及参会资格。
3️⃣ 请使用参与者本人的姓名、联系方式及真实校友和职业信息报名。原则上不建议代他人报名；如需协助他人完成报名，应填写实际参与者本人的全部信息。
4️⃣ 活动门票仅限获批报名者本人使用，不可兑换现金，也不得未经主办方同意转让。
5️⃣ 为保障讨论质量及参与者体验，请准时出席并尊重圆桌主持人及其他参与者。未经同意，请勿录音、传播他人的私人信息或披露讨论中的敏感商业内容。
6️⃣ 活动现场可能进行摄影及录像，并用于 UoMCAN 活动回顾和社区宣传。如有特殊顾虑，请在活动前联系主办方。
7️⃣ 对于多次无故缺席、提交不实信息或影响活动秩序的情况，UoMCAN 保留限制其参与后续活动的权利。
As AI reshapes every industry, UoMCAN invites you to join our annual Industry Roundtable. The event will bring together 150+ UoM Chinese alumni, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders across sectors to explore how AI is transforming industries and commercialisation opportunities.

Registration & Attendance Information
1. Registration & Payment
Please click “Get Ticket” to complete your registration and provide accurate and complete personal, professional and alumni information, together with your payment details.
Submission of your registration does not guarantee a place at the Event. All registrations are subject to review based on alumni status, professional background, event capacity and roundtable allocations.
2. Registration Approval & Confirmation
Upon submitting your registration, you will receive a “Pending Approval” email.
Please note that any Pending transaction shown on your bank card is only a payment authorisation and is not an actual charge.
Once your registration has been reviewed:
✅ Approved: your payment will be processed automatically and a confirmation email will be sent. Your registration is only confirmed upon receipt of this confirmation email.
❌ Rejected: the payment authorisation will be automatically released and no charge will be made.
Registrations will be reviewed based on the following considerations:
Priority will be given to University of Melbourne alumni who have already graduated;
Registration order;
Availability of seats within the selected industry roundtable;
Overall roundtable composition to ensure balanced and meaningful discussions across industries.
Due to the high number of waitlisted registrations and limited roundtable capacity, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee a place for every applicant.
UoMCAN reserves the right to decline or cancel registrations where submitted information is incomplete, cannot be reasonably verified, or does not meet the eligibility requirements of the Event.
3. Waitlist
Once the Event reaches capacity, subsequent registrations will automatically be placed on the waitlist. No payment will be processed while your registration remains on the waitlist.
If places become available, waitlisted registrations may be reviewed based on registration order and overall roundtable requirements. Payment will only be processed once your registration has been approved and confirmed.
💡 If you have already received an Approved confirmation email but are no longer able to attend, please notify the Organising Committee as soon as possible.
We will assist you with a refund in accordance with the Event Refund Policy and release your seat to another waitlisted participant.
If you are still on the waitlist and no longer wish to attend, please cancel your registration promptly to avoid being automatically approved and charged when a place becomes available.
4. Roundtable Allocation
Roundtable allocations will be made based on participants’ professional backgrounds, industry experience and stated preferences.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants’ preferences, we are unable to guarantee placement at a participant’s first-choice roundtable due to capacity limitations.
Final roundtable allocations will be confirmed at the Event.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Participant Cancellation
More than seven (7) days before the Event
Participants may request a refund of all refundable registration fees. Any non-refundable third-party ticketing or payment processing fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Please cancel your registration via the registration platform. If the system is unable to process your refund automatically, please contact the Organising Committee for assistance.
Within seven (7) days of the Event (including no-shows)
Registration fees are generally non-refundable.
As this Event requires advance planning for roundtable allocations, seating arrangements and catering, registrations may not be privately sold, transferred or substituted.
If exceptional circumstances arise, participants may contact the Organising Committee in advance. Any approval for participant substitutions will be subject to eligibility requirements and roundtable arrangements at the sole discretion of UoMCAN.
2. Event Cancellation or Postponement
If the Event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control or by the Organiser, participants will receive a refund of the registration fees actually received. The refundability of any third-party platform fees will be subject to the relevant platform’s policies.
Should the Event be postponed, participants will be notified of the arrangements regarding retained registrations or refund options.
Please Read Before Registering
This Event does not accept on-site or walk-in registrations. Only participants who have received a registration confirmation email will be admitted.
This Event is primarily intended for University of Melbourne alumni, with a limited number of places available for invited industry guests and students. UoMCAN reserves the right to verify participant information and determine eligibility requirements.
Please register using your own name, contact details and accurate alumni and professional information. Where registration is completed on behalf of another participant, all submitted information must belong to the actual attendee.
Event tickets are valid only for the approved participant and are not redeemable for cash or transferable without prior approval from UoMCAN.
To ensure a meaningful experience for all participants, please arrive on time and respect the Table Hosts and fellow attendees. Audio recordings, unauthorised distribution of participants’ personal information, or disclosure of sensitive commercial discussions are prohibited without consent.
Photography and videography may take place during the Event for UoMCAN’s community engagement and promotional purposes. Participants with specific concerns are encouraged to contact the Organising Committee prior to the Event.
UoMCAN reserves the right to restrict participation in future events in cases of repeated no-shows, submission of false or misleading information, or conduct that materially disrupts the Event experience.
UoMCAN further reserves the right to determine participant eligibility, roundtable allocations and other event arrangements where reasonably required to ensure a balanced and meaningful experience for all attendees.
