Beginners' Japanese Taster Session

​Curious to learn Japanese? Have a trip to Japan booked soon?

​Come and explore this beginners' Japanese taster session.

​You'll start with what you already know and gradually be able create your first sentences in Japanese. You already know more than you realise!

​By the end of the session you'll be able to give your name and country in Japanese, as well as make basic sentences.

​This is a highly interactive session where you'll get plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and get supportive feedback, so you can be sure you're making good progress.

​We'll be using Google Meet and the Moodle learning management software to support your learning.

​Since this is the first time offering this session and I'm wanting honest feedback, it's at the discounted price of £12.50 ($17) instead of £25 ($34) when it's fully tested and up and running.

​There's a reason Japan is becoming an increasingly popular travel destination - the collectivist culture has wisdom for the west. Deep levels of mutual respect are embedded in the language itself. Learning Japanese isn't just about getting by in a foreign language, it's also about seeing relationships and groups through a more connected, respectful and collectivist lens.
