Pitch a Pal
Making new, meaningful friends as an adult can be surprisingly hard.
Maybe you’ve moved countries. Your social circles have shifted. Your friends got busy. You miss spontaneous conversations, interesting people, and plans that actually leave the group chat.
So let’s try something different.
Pitch A Pal is a lightly structured social salon for meeting interesting humans through the people, friendships, and social experiences we’d genuinely recommend.
You can come with a friend and give a short, informal “pitch” for why other people should know them — or come solo and pitch the kinds of friendships, conversations, adventures, creative collaborations, and social energy you’d love more of in your life.
Think:
creative co-conspirators
museum wanderers
emotionally intelligent conversation partners
dinner-party people
deep-talk-and-dad-joke specialists
future chosen family
people who actually make plans
Pitch decks are completely optional, but if you'd find one useful, you can generate one for you or your friend here: https://pitchapal.com/e/experience-c2lib
(If you register for the event through the website, you can also welcome to browse other people’s pitches, ask questions, make connections, encourage someone, or invite others to come.)
This is not speed dating and not networking.
It’s a room full of interesting adults, a little structure to make starting conversations easier, and plenty of space for unexpected connection.
A few practical details:
The event itself is free, but the venue charges €7 per person, payable at the counter. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are available for purchase.
And when the structured part wraps up, there’s no rush to leave — you’re welcome to stay, chat, play board games, and hang out until the venue closes.
Come pitch a pal, pitch your ideal social life, or just come meet some people you might be very glad you met.
