QPR Training with Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County
The Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimar County will be presenting a free QPR Training at Cherry On Top.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) are the three steps we recommend taking to help someone who may be considering suicide. It is the most widely taught evidence-based suicide prevention gatekeeper training in the world. This practical and empowering course teaches what you need to know to prevent suicide in your personal and professional life.
In QPR you will learn:
• how to ask someone if they are considering suicide
• how to connect someone to appropriate resources
• how to get help for yourself
• the common causes of suicidal behavior or emotional distress
• the warning signs and risk tactors for suicide
• the myths and facts of suicide
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so that someone on the waitlist can attend. You can cancel directly through Luma. Please note that you’ll need a Luma account to do so. When creating your account, be sure to use the same email address you used to register.

Guests with mobility needs may use the accessible entrance available through the side entrance/alleyway access. Public street parking is available, including several accessible parking spaces nearby. There is an additional parking garage about one block away with accessible parking spaces.
